Minor Eye Conditions Services
M.E.C.S
MECS is a service provided for patients who experience sudden symptoms such as the following:
• Loss of vision
• Dry Eyes
• Red Eyes
• Watery Eyes
• Recent discharge
• Minor injuries (scratch to eye)
• Sore/painful eyes
• Foreign body
These tests do not replace your routine eye tests and cannot prescribe spectacles. This service is also part of Glaucoma and Cataract care pathways.
